The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions arrived at Makkah assuming Ihrām for Hajj on the fourth day (of Dhu al-Hijjah). They asked: O Messenger of Allah, to what extent should we lift the restrictions of Ihrām? He said: Lift the restrictions of Ihrām completely

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) ordered them to assume their Ihrām for ‘Umrah (instead of Hajj). They asked: "O Messenger of Allah, to what extent should we lift the restrictions of Ihrām?" He said: "Lift the restrictions of Ihrām completely."
