حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، فِي هَذَا الإِسْنَادِ . وَزَادَ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ فَقُلْتُ لِقَتَادَةَ أَسَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ نَعَمْ نَحْنُ سَأَلْنَاهُ عَنْهُ .
محمد بن ( جعفر کے بجائے ) ابو داؤد نے شعبہ سے اسی سند سے روایت کی اور یہ اضافہ کیا کہ شعبہ نے کہا : میں نے قتادہ سے کہا : کیا آپ نے یہ روایت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنی ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا : ہاں ، کہا : ہاں ، ہم نے سے اس کے بارے میں پوچھا تھا ۔
