وَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَيَانٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، - يَعْنِي الطَّحَّانَ - عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَأْمُرُنَا إِذَا أَخَذْنَا مَضْجَعَنَا أَنْ نَقُولَ . بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ وَقَالَ " مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا " .
خالد طحان نے سہیل سے ، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے اور انہوں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمیں یہ حکم دیا کرتے تھے کہ جب ہم اپنے بستروں پر لیٹیں تو یہ دعا کریں ، جریر کی حدیث کے مانند ( اور خالد طحان نے " ہر اس چیز کے شر سے " کے بجائے ) کہا : " ہر اس جاندار کے شر سے ( تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں ) جسے تو نے اس کی پیشانی سے پکڑا ہوا ہے ۔
