وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ، بَشَّارٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، قَالَ نَهَى أَوْ نَهَانِي يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .
شعبہ نے عاصم بن کلیب سے روایت کی ، کہا : میں نے ابو بردہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا ، انھوں نے کہا : میں نے حضرت علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا ، انھوں نے کہا : منع فرمایا ، یا مجھے منع فرمایا ، ان کی مراد نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے تھی ( اس کے بعد ) اسی طرح بیان کیا ۔
