حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ يَدْعُوهَا فَأُرِيدُ أَنْ أَخْتَبِئَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
مالک بن انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے ابن شہاب سے خبر دی ، انہوں نے ابو سلمہ بن عبد الرحمن سے اور انہوں نے حضر ت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسو ل اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ ہر نبی کی ایک ( یقینی ) دعا ہے جو وہ مانگتا ہے ۔ میں چاہتا ہوں کہ میں اپنی دعا کو قیامت کے دن اپنی امت کی سفارش کے لیے محفوظ رکھوں ۔ ‘ ‘
