وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ وَلَيْسَ بِالنَّجَاشِيِّ الَّذِي صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
خالد بن قیس نے قتادہ سے ، انہوں نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی اور انہوں نے بھی یہ ذکر نہیں کیا : یہ نجاشی وہ نہیں تھا جس کی نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز جنازہ پڑھائی تھی
