وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَيُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَالِمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيِّ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، الْجُهَنِيِّ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ " مَنْ آوَى ضَالَّةً فَهُوَ ضَالٌّ مَا لَمْ يُعَرِّفْهَا " .
حضرت زید بن خالد جہنی رضی اللہ عنہ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی ، آپ نے فرمایا : " جس نے ( کسی کے ) بھٹکتے ہوئے جانور ( اونٹنی ) کو اپنے پاس رکھ لیا ہے تو وہ ( خود ) بھٹکا ہوا ہے جب تک اس کی تشہیر نہیں کرتا
