حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ، اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَيُّمَا أَهْلِ دَارٍ اتَّخَذُوا كَلْبًا إِلاَّ كَلْبَ مَاشِيَةٍ أَوْ كَلْبَ صَائِدٍ نَقَصَ مِنْ عَمَلِهِمْ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قِيرَاطَانِ" .
عمر بن حمزہ بن عبداللہ بن عمر نے ہمیں خبر دی ، کہا : ہمیں سالم بن عبداللہ نے اپنے والد سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " جن گھر والوں نے مویشیوں ( کی حفاظت ) والے کتے یا شکاری کتے کے سوا کتا رکھا ، تو ان کے عمل سے ہر روز دو قیراط کم ہوں گے ۔
