حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِيُّ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ - عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ أَنْ يُبَاعَ مَا فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ بِتَمْرٍ بِكَيْلٍ مُسَمًّى إِنْ زَادَ فَلِي وَإِنْ نَقَصَ فَعَلَىَّ .
اسماعیل بن ابراہیم نے ہمیں ایوب سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے نافع سے ، انہوں نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مزابنہ سے منع فرمایا اور مزابنہ یہ ہے کہ کھجور پر جو پھل لگا ہوا ہے اسے ماپ کی مقررہ مقدار کے ساتھ خشک کھجور کے عوض بیچا جائے کہ اگر بڑھ گیا تو میرا اور اگر کم ہو گیا تو اس کی ذمہ داری بھی مجھ پر ہو گی
