منصور بن ابی مزاحم اور محمد بن جعفر بن زیاد نے کہا : ہمیں ابراہیم بن سعد نے ابن شہاب سے حدیث سنائی ، انہوں نے سعید بن مسیب سے اور انہوں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ سے پوچھا گیا : کون ساعمل سب سے افضل ہے ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : ’’ اللہ عز وجل پر ایمان لانا ۔ ‘ ‘ پوچھا گیا : پھر اس کے بعد کون سا ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : ’’ اللہ کے راستے میں جہاد کرنا ۔ ‘ ‘ پوچھا گیا : پھر کو ن سا ؟ فرمایا : ’’حج مبرور ( ایسا حج جو سراسرنیکی اور تقوے پر مبنی اور مکمل ہو ۔ ) ‘ ‘ محمد بن جعفر کی روایت میں ’’ اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان ‘ ‘ کے الفاظ ہیں ۔
