سہیل کے والد ( ابو صالح ) نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روا یت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا " قیامت قائم نہیں ہو گی یہاں تک کہ مال بڑھ جا ئے گا اور ( پانی کی طرح ) بہنے لگے گا اور آدمی اپنے مال کی زکاۃ لے کر نکلے گا تو اسے ایک شخص بھی نہیں ملے گا جو اسے اس کی طرف سے قبو ل کر لے اور یہاں تک کہ عربکی سر زمین دو بارہ چرا گا ہوں اور نہروں میں بدل جا ئے گی ۔
