حَدَّثَنَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَزَادَ ثُمَّ قَالَ " أَمَّا بَعْدُ فَإِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ " . وَزَادَ أَيْضًا ثُمَّ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ " .
ابو معاویہ نے ہشام بن عروہ سے اسی سند کے ساتھ ( سابقہ حدیث کے مانند ) روایت کی اور اس میں یہ اضافہ کیا پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا : " امابعد ( حمد و صلاۃ کے بعد ) !بلا شبہ سورج اور چاند اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے دونشانیاں ہیں ۔ " اور یہ بھی اضافہ کیا : پھر آپ نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھا اٹھا ئے اور فر ما یا : " اے اللہ !کیا میں نے ( پیغام ) اچھی طرح پہنچا دیا ؟
