حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ رَأَى حُذَيْفَةُ رَجُلاً لاَ يُتِمُّ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ قَالَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ، وَلَوْ مُتَّ مُتَّ عَلَى غَيْرِ الْفِطْرَةِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ اللَّهُ مُحَمَّدًا صلى الله عليه وسلم.
ہم سے حفص بن عمر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، سلیمان بن اعمش کے واسطہ سے کہا میں نے زید بن وہب سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ نے ایک شخص کو دیکھا کہ نہ رکوع پوری طرح کرتا ہے نہ سجدہ۔ اس لیے آپ نے اس سے کہا کہ تم نے نماز ہی نہیں پڑھی اور اگر تم مر گئے تو تمہاری موت اس سنت پر نہیں ہو گی جس پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو پیدا کیا تھا۔
