حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْهِرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي الزُّبَيْدِيُّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ، قَالَ عَقَلْتُ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَجَّةً مَجَّهَا فِي وَجْهِي وَأَنَا ابْنُ خَمْسِ سِنِينَ مِنْ دَلْوٍ.
ہم سے محمد بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابومسہر نے، ان سے محمد بن حرب نے، ان سے زبیدی نے زہری کے واسطے سے بیان کیا، وہ محمود بن الربیع سے نقل کرتے ہیں، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھے یاد ہے کہ ( ایک مرتبہ ) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک ڈول سے منہ میں پانی لے کر میرے چہرے پر کلی فرمائی، اور میں اس وقت پانچ سال کا تھا۔
