حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الذُّهْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَنْصَارِيُّ، مُحَمَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ قَيْسَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ، كَانَ يَكُونُ بَيْنَ يَدَىِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَنْزِلَةِ صَاحِبِ الشُّرَطِ مِنَ الأَمِيرِ.
ہم سے محمد بن خالد ذہلی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے انصاری محمد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ہمارے والد نے بیان کیا، ان سے ثمامہ نے اور ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ قیس بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ اس طرح رہتے تھے جیسے امیر کے ساتھ کوتوال رہتا ہے۔
