حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ (إِنَّ قَدْرَ حَوْضِي كَمَا بَيْنَ أَيْلَةَ وَصَنْعَاءَ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ، وَإِنَّ فِيهِ مِنَ الأَبَارِيقِ كَعَدَدِ نُجُومِ السَّمَاءِ).
ہم سے سعید بن عفیر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے ابن وہب نے بیان کیا، ان سے یونس نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن شہاب نے بیان کیا، اور ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”میرے حوض کی لمبائی اتنی ہو گی جتنی ایلہ اور یمن اور شہر صنعاء کے درمیان کی لمبائی ہے۔ اور وہاں اتنی بڑی تعداد میں پیالے ہوں گے جتنی آسمان کے ستاروں کی تعداد ہے۔“
