حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدْعُو عِنْدَ الْكَرْبِ " لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ، رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ ".
ہم سے مسلم بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے ہشام بن عروہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے قتادہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوالعالیہ نے اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پریشانی کے وقت یہ دعا کرتے تھے «لا إله إلا الله العظيم الحليم، لا إله إلا الله رب السموات والأرض، رب العرش العظيم» ”اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں جو بہت عظمت والا ہے اور برد بار ہے، اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں جو آسمانوں اور زمین کا رب اور بڑے بھاری عرش کا رب ہے۔“
