حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا، قَالَ قَالَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَسٌ خَادِمُكَ. قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ، وَبَارِكْ لَهُ فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَهُ ".
ہم سے سعید بن ربیع نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے قتادہ نے کہا کہ میں نے انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، کہا کہ ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کہا کہ انس آپ کا خادم ہے اس کے حق میں دعا فرمائیے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دعا فرمائی «اللهم أكثر ماله وولده، وبارك له فيما أعطيته» ”یا اللہ! اس کے مال و اولاد کو زیادہ کر اور جو کچھ تو نے اسے دیا ہے، اس میں اسے برکت عطا فرمائیو۔“
