حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَلاَ أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِأَكْبَرِ الْكَبَائِرِ ". قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ. قَالَ " الإِشْرَاكُ بِاللَّهِ، وَعُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ ".
ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ مدینی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے بشر بن مفضل نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سعید بن ایاس جریری نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی بکرہ نے اور ان سے ان کے باپ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”کیا میں تمہیں سب سے بڑے گناہ کی خبر نہ دوں۔“ صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم نے عرض کیا کیوں نہیں یا رسول اللہ! نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اللہ کے ساتھ شرک کرنا اور والدین کی نافرمانی کرنا۔
