حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ ـ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُتْبَةَ مَوْلَى أَنَسٍ ـ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَشَدَّ حَيَاءً مِنَ الْعَذْرَاءِ فِي خِدْرِهَا، فَإِذَا رَأَى شَيْئًا يَكْرَهُهُ عَرَفْنَاهُ فِي وَجْهِهِ.
ہم سے عبدان نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبداللہ بن مبارک نے، کہا ہم کو شعبہ نے خبر دی، انہیں قتادہ نے، کہا میں نے عبداللہ بن عتبہ سے سنا، جو انس رضی اللہ عنہ کے غلام ہیں کہ ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کنواری لڑکیوں سے بھی زیادہ شرمیلے تھے، جب آپ کوئی ایسی چیز دیکھتے جو آپ کو ناگوار ہوتی تو ہم آپ کے چہرے مبارک سے سمجھ جاتے تھے۔
