حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَحَمْزَةُ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ عَدْوَى، وَلاَ طِيَرَةَ، إِنَّمَا الشُّؤْمُ فِي ثَلاَثٍ فِي الْفَرَسِ، وَالْمَرْأَةِ، وَالدَّارِ ".
ہم سے سعید بن عفیر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے عبداللہ بن وہب نے بیان کیا، ان سے یونس بن یزید نے، ان سے ابن شہاب نے کہا کہ مجھے سالم بن عبداللہ اور حمزہ نے خبر دی اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ چھوت لگ جانے کی کوئی حقیقت نہیں ہے، بدشگونی کی کوئی اصل نہیں۔ ( اگر ممکن ہوتی تو ) نحوست تین چیزوں میں ہوتی، گھوڑے میں، عورت میں اور گھر میں۔
