حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ـ هُوَ ابْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ـ عَنْ جَابِرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ جَاءَنِي النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَعُودُنِي لَيْسَ بِرَاكِبِ بَغْلٍ وَلاَ بِرْذَوْنٍ.
ہم سے عمرو بن عباس نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبدالرحمٰن نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان نے بیان کیا، ان سے محمد نے جو منکدر کے بیٹے ہیں اور ان سے جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میری عیادت کے لیے تشریف لائے آپ نہ کسی خچر پر سوار تھے نہ کسی گھوڑے پر۔ ( بلکہ آپ پیدل تشریف لائے تھے ) ۔
