حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ خَيَّرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَاخْتَرْنَا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ، فَلَمْ يَعُدَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْنَا شَيْئًا.
ہم سے عمر بن حفص بن غیاث نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ہمارے والد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے اعمش نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے مسلم بن صبیح نے بیان کیا، ان سے مسروق نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں اختیار دیا تھا اور ہم نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کو ہی پسند کیا تھا لیکن اس کا ہمارے حق میں کوئی شمار ( طلاق ) میں نہیں ہوا تھا۔
