حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنْ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِ ـ {الْمُرْسَلاَتِ عُرْفًا} ثُمَّ مَا صَلَّى لَنَا بَعْدَهَا حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللَّهُ.
ہم سے یحییٰ بن بکیر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے لیث بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ان سے عقیل نے، ان سے ابن شہاب نے، ان سے عبیداللہ بن عبداللہ نے، ان سے عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے اور ان سے ام فضل بنت حارث رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے سنا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مغرب کی نماز میں «والمرسلات عرفا» کی قرآت کر رہے تھے، اس کے بعد پھر آپ نے ہمیں کبھی نماز نہیں پڑھائی، یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کی روح قبض کر لی۔
