حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، يَقُولُ أَذْكُرُ أَنِّي خَرَجْتُ مَعَ الْغِلْمَانِ إِلَى ثَنِيَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ نَتَلَقَّى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم. وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً مَعَ الصِّبْيَانِ.
ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ مدینی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے زہری سے سنا، انہوں نے سائب بن یزید رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، وہ بیان کرتے تھے کہ مجھے یاد ہے جب میں بچوں کے ساتھ ثنیۃ الوداع کی طرف رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا استقبال کرنے گیا تھا۔ سفیان نے ایک مرتبہ ( «مع الغلمان» کے بجائے ) «مع الصبيان.» بیان کیا۔
