حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِسَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ عَلَى أَىِّ شَىْءٍ بَايَعْتُمْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ. قَالَ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ.
ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا کہ ہم سے حاتم بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے یزید بن ابی عبید نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے سلمہ بن اکوع رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا کہ صلح حدیبیہ کے موقع پر آپ لوگوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کس چیز پر بیعت کی تھی؟ انہوں نے بتلایا کہ موت پر۔
