حَدَّثَنِي خَلِيفَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ مَاتَ أَبُو زَيْدٍ وَلَمْ يَتْرُكْ عَقِبًا، وَكَانَ بَدْرِيًّا.
مجھ سے خلیفہ نے بیان کیا، ہم سے عبداللہ انصاری نے بیان کیا، ان سے سعید نے بیان کیا، ان سے قتادہ نے اور ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ ابوزید رضی اللہ عنہ وفات پا گئے اور انہوں نے کوئی اولاد نہیں چھوڑی، وہ بدر کی لڑائی میں شریک ہوئے تھے۔
