حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الصَّوَّافُ، حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ـ كَانَ يَنْزِلُ فِي بَنِي ضُبَيْعَةَ وَهْوَ مَوْلًى لِبَنِي سَدُوسَ ـ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عُبَادٍ، قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ ـ رضى الله عنه فِينَا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ {هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوا فِي رَبِّهِمْ }
ہم سے اسحاق بن ابراہیم صواف نے بیان کیا، ہم سے یوسف بن یعقوب نے بیان کیا، ان کا بنی ضبیعہ کے یہاں آنا جانا تھا اور وہ بنی سدوس کے غلام تھے۔ کہا ہم سے سلیمان تیمی نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابومجلز نے اور ان سے قیس بن عباد نے بیان کیا کہ علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا یہ آیت «هذان خصمان اختصموا في ربهم» ہمارے ہی بارے میں نازل ہوئی تھی۔
