وَقَالَ دُحَيْمٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ وَسَّاجٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْمَدِينَةَ، فَكَانَ أَسَنَّ أَصْحَابِهِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، فَغَلَفَهَا بِالْحِنَّاءِ وَالْكَتَمِ حَتَّى قَنَأَ لَوْنُهَا.
اور دحیم نے بیان کیا، ان سے ولید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے اوزاعی نے بیان کیا، کہا مجھ سے ابو عبید نے بیان کیا، ان سے عقبہ بن وساج نے انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ جب نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مدینہ تشریف لائے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے اصحاب میں سب سے زیادہ عمر ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کی تھی اس لیے انہوں نے مہندی اور وسمہ کا خضاب استعمال کیا۔ اس سے آپ کے بالوں کا رنگ خوب سرخی مائل بہ سیاہی ہو گیا۔
