حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " فُكُّوا الْعَانِيَ ـ يَعْنِي الأَسِيرَ ـ وَأَطْعِمُوا الْجَائِعَ وَعُودُوا الْمَرِيضَ ".
ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا ہم سے جریر نے بیان کیا۔ ان سے منصور نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ابووائل نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ” «عاني» یعنی قیدی کو چھڑایا کرو ‘ بھوکے کو کھلایا کرو ‘ بیمار کی عیادت کرو۔“
