وَقَالَ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي سَفَرٍ، وَكُنْتُ عَلَى بَكْرٍ صَعْبٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِعُمَرَ " بِعْنِيهِ ". فَابْتَاعَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " هُوَ لَكَ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ ".
اور حمیدی نے بیان کیا کہ ہم سے سفیان نے بیان کیا کہ ہم سے عمرو نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ایک سفر میں تھے اور میں ایک سرکش اونٹ پر سوار تھا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا کہ یہ اونٹ مجھے بیچ دے چنانچہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے خرید لیا اور پھر فرمایا عبداللہ! تو یہ اونٹ لے جا ( میں نے یہ تجھ کو بخش دیا ) ۔
