حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ـ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ ـ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ ".
ہم سے عبداللہ بن یزید نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے سعید بن ابی ایوب نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے ابوالاسود نے بیان کیا، ان سے عکرمہ نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جو شخص اپنے مال کی حفاظت کرتے ہوئے قتل کر دیا گیا وہ شہید ہے۔
