حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ كَانَتْ عُكَاظٌ وَمَجَنَّةُ وَذُو الْمَجَازِ أَسْوَاقًا فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ الإِسْلاَمُ تَأَثَّمُوا مِنَ التِّجَارَةِ فِيهَا، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ {لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ} فِي مَوَاسِمِ الْحَجِّ، قَرَأَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ كَذَا.
ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے عمرو بن دینار نے اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ عکاظ، مجنہ اور ذوالمجاز یہ سب زمانہ جاہلیت کے بازار تھے۔ جب اسلام آیا تو لوگوں نے ان میں تجارت کو گناہ سمجھا۔ اس پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیت نازل کی «ليس عليكم جناح** في مواسم الحج»، ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے اسی طرح قرآت کی ہے۔
