حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ اسْتَأْذَنَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يَبِيتَ بِمَكَّةَ لَيَالِيَ مِنًى مِنْ أَجْلِ سِقَايَتِهِ، فَأَذِنَ لَهُ.
ہم سے عبداللہ بن محمد بن ابی الاسود نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے ابوضمرہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے عبیداللہ عمری نے بیان کیا، ان سے نافع نے، ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ عباس بن عبدالمطلب رضی اللہ عنہ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اپنے پانی ( زمزم کا حاجیوں کو ) پلانے کے لیے منیٰ کے دنوں میں مکہ ٹھہرنے کی اجازت چاہی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کو اجازت دے دی۔
