حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا وَرْقَاءُ، أَخْبَرَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَبَّلَ الْحَجَرَ وَقَالَ لَوْلاَ أَنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَبَّلَكَ مَا قَبَّلْتُكَ.
ہم سے احمد بن سنان نے بیان کیا، ان سے یزید بن ہارون نے بیان کیا، انہیں ورقاء نے خبر دی، انہیں زید بن اسلم نے خبر دی، ان سے ان کے والد نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے دیکھا کہ عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ نے حجر اسود کو بوسہ دیا اور پھر فرمایا کہ ”اگر میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو تجھے بوسہ دیتے نہ دیکھتا تو میں کبھی تجھے بوسہ نہ دیتا۔“
